Alignments
Four wheel alignment is a standard
service today and is essential on vehicles with front wheel drive
(FWD) and independent rear suspension. We at Buehler
Automotive & Transmission have the latest Sun Aligner 3500
Computerized Unit. We handle everything
from passenger vehicles to motor homes and medium duty trucks.
Brake inspection
We remove all 4 wheels to inspect
your vehicles brake components. Size and condition of brake
rotors, brake pads, calipers, caliper slides, rear brake drums and
shoes, brake hardware, park brake cables, parking brake performance as well as tire
condition and tread depths.
Charging & Battery System
Service
This service will check charging
system and battery efficiency. Then we remove accumulated
corrosion deposits from the battery terminals and cables. We
also install anti-corrosion pads to prevent future deposits. Our
recommendation for this service is once a year.
Cooling System Flush
Flush cooling system, pressure
test, check hoses, cap and connections. Refill with new
fluid. Our recommendation for this service is every 2 years.
Differential Service
We will remove old fluid and flush
differential where possible. After inspecting components, we
will install a high quality gear oil with a special additive to
condition seals and friction material in limited slip units.

Problems

Buehler Automotive & Transmission is the place to go for
help. Our computerized troubleshooting equipment will
assist in diagnosing problems with vehicle's fuel,
ignition and electronic engine controls. The process
helps identify trouble areas and help us to provide better
service to you.
EGR Service
The EGR (exhaust gas recirculating)
Valve is part of the emissions system. It's operation is
vital for today's high tech engines. This service maintains
EGR function by removing carbon deposits using special equipment.
We will clean the EGR valve, passages and lateral lines Our
recommendation for this service is every 30,000 km.
Engine Flush Service
Before doing your oil change, we
install and circulate a powerful cleaner to remove damaging sludge
and deposits from your lubrication system. Then we install a
high quality oil and engine conditioner to prevent oxidation and
reduce friction and wear. Our recommendation for this service is
every 40,000 km.
Exhaust Systems
We can provide a variety of exhaust
components from "Walker", "Maromont" and "Bosal" for most domestic
and import vehicles. We honour all Walker and POG warranty
certificates.
50 Point Inspection
Our "50 Point Inspection" is the best way to
avoid having your vehicle break down during a vacation or if
considering purchasing a difference vehicle or just for
general peace of mind. We inspect all lights, mirrors,
glass, wipers, engine heating and cooling
system, steering components, front and rear suspension
components, drive shaft and C.V. shaft, exhaust components,
full brake inspection, ignition components, electrical
outputs, tire conditions and all fluid condition and levels,
as well as overall vehicle condition..
Fuel Induction System Service
We are excited to offer the new "Motor Vac"
engine cleaning system, a "Tune-up of the millennium".
This system cleans varnish and gum build up from fuel rails
and fuel injectors It
also removes carbon from the intake manifold ports,
valves and combustion
chamber. By having this operation completed, your
vehicle's fuel economy and performance level will be
restored and exhaust emission levels will be lowered.
Heavy Duty Vehicle
Emissions
Testing
As of September 30, 1999, the province of
Ontario has implemented mandatory testing of heavy duty
vehicles through the Drive Clean Program. All vehicles
with Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) greater than 4,500
kg require annual testing. We at Buehler Automotive &
Transmission are an accredited HDV testing facility.
Headlight Aiming
with Hoppy
Vision 100 Optical Headlamp Aimer
Composite plastic
designs with halogen removable bulbs and fixed lamp assemblies
with adjustable reflectors have replaced the old sealed beams
with aim pads. Our Optical Aimer is able to set these new
style lamps at their optimum setting using an optical beam of
light. The lamp will be aimed correctly and consistently,
improving the forward lighting. This equipment will also
check the light intensity of each headlamp.
Light Duty Emissions Testing &
Repair
As of October 23, 2000, Buehler
Automotive & Transmission became an accredited Drive Clean Test and
Repair Facility. All light-duty vehicles (cars, pick-up
trucks, SUV's and some motor homes that are 1988 model year and
newer must be tested every two years for license
renewal beginning in the 5th calendar year after their model
year. All vehicles require testing when ownership is
transferred (with the exception of present calendar year
vehicles). If your vehicle was tested within 365 days
prior to transfer and you hold the "Pass" certificate, no other

Power Steering Flush
Our technicians use a powerful
cleaner to dissolve gum and varnish in your vehicles power
steering unit. Then we will flush out the old, worn,
contaminated fluid and install new fluid.
Steering & Suspension
We are equipped to repair
almost any steering and suspension problems on passenger cars,
light trucks , medium duty trucks, 1 ton trucks, as well as motor
homes. Our state of the art Snap-On alignment machine
ensures that your vehicle's steering geometry is adjusted to
factory specifications. Improper alignment can affect your fuel
economy, cause handling problems and result in premature tire
wear. We also recommend a vehicle's alignment checked every 50,000
km to allow maximum wear and performance from your vehicle's
tires.
Tires
We supply and install brand name tires
such as Michelin, Goodyear, Bridgestone, Firestone, BF
Goodrich, Hercules, Kumho to name a few.
We have modern tire mounting equipment that will handle the
new "runflat" tires and computerized wheel balancing
equipment.
Tire Rotation & Brake inspection
When performed at regular
intervals, this service monitors brake wear and extends the
serviceable life
of all the tires by promoting even tire wear. We will rotate
the tires in the appropriate pattern based on vehicle design. Our
recommendation for this service is every 10,000 km
Towing and Recovery Service
We service Alma and surrounding area's towing
and recovery needs We are on call 24 hours a day for
any emergencies that may arise for passenger vehicles, and light and medium duty trucks. We are a member of the Centre
Wellington Towing Association which provides towing and
recovery service for police dispatched calls We are
equipped with both a 5 ton medium duty wrecker and 21 foot
tilt bed. Our operators are WreckMaster trained and
certified. If we do not have the
resources to
handle a job, we have the contacts to bring in equipment
needed.
Trailers, RV & Motor Home Repair
We perform annual mechanical fitness
inspections and repairs on 5th wheel, gooseneck and
frame hitch type trailers (livestock or cargo). Our
service bay is large enough to accommodate up to
40 foot trailers
We are also have the expertise to perform
mechanical repairs on recreational trailers and motor
homes.
Transmission Flush Service
Using the latest technology, we
will install a powerful cleaning agent to suspend harmful varnish and
sludge from the transmission's valve body, torque converter and
other components. Then with our flushing machine, evacuate the sump,
drop the pan and filter to inspect for metal and clutch sediment. Retorque valve body, adjust bands and check electrical wiring if
applicable. Then we remove remaining fluid with flusher,
install new filter and pan gasket, add conditioner and top up
fluid level, scan check for electronic sensor operation and
trouble codes. Our recommendation for this service is every 2
years or every 50,000 km.
Transmission Rebuilding
We specialize
in transmission repair and custom rebuilding of standard and
automatic transmissions on passenger vehicles, light trucks
and light industrial equipment. As an added interest,
we have been repairing transmissions for "Olympia Ice

Windshield Stone Chip Repair
Windshield
repair is a process that utilizes modern technology to
repair, rather than replace windshields with stone damage or
stone "chips" up to the size of a quarter. The process
consists of injecting a specially-formulated resin into the
damaged area. When the damaged area has been completely
filled, it is exposed to an ultraviolet light which cures
the resin. This restores the structural integrity and
clarity of the damaged area.
Vehicle
Safety Inspection
We are a
certified Vehicle Inspection Station authorized by the
Ministry of Transportation to inspect and certify trailers
and motor vehicles other than propane fuelled motor vehicles
in accordance with the inspection requirements and
performance standards set out by the Ministry.
