Brake fluid contamination has become so much of a concern of some major car manufacturers that they have added it to their required maintenance list and recommend it to be flushed every 2 years. BRAKE FLUID FLUSH INCLUDES:

Check brake fluid for moisture and contamination.

Inspect all hydraulic lines and hoses.

Inspect master cylinder and cap.

Clean out dirt and old fluid from master cylinder.

Flush old fluid out of master cylinder, calipers and wheel cylinders until clean.

Top off master cylinder with new brake fluid.

Visually inspect hydraulic system for leaks and condition.

Remove all wheels and inspect brake lining, brake hardware and visually inspect wheel
cylinders and calipers.

Visually inspect brake rotors and drums.

Lubricate backing plate and adjusting hardware.

Remove brake dust.

Adjust brakes.

Adjust parking brake.

Performance test vehicle for proper brake operation.
